Inter Islander New Zealand

The Interislander is a company that provides a ferry service across the Cook Strait, linking North Island and South Island. This is the only company that offers this service, so you will need to book with them if you wish to cross the Cook Strait.

To take the hassle out of your booking arrangements, Just go NZ will happily arrange your booking for you and will e-mail you a copy of your itinerary. When you check in to Just go, we will give you a voucher, or, if booking over the phone with us during your holiday, we will give you a booking reference number.

While on board the Interislander there are areas for taking a nap and eating and drinking as well as soaking up the sun. There is also an on-board bar and cafe offering a variety of meals and snacks. The travel time on the Interislander ferries is approximately three and a half hours. Tickets are non-transferable. Standard Terms and Conditions will be e-mailed to you with your booking confirmation.
